Brighton is our first Pine Village location and will always hold a special place in our hearts.  Founded in 2001 our Brighton school, nestled in a field of tall pines, is the quintessential Preschool.  We are located on the grounds of Mt St Joseph’s High School, set way back off of Cambridge St, between the villages of Allston and Brighton.  Our small brick cottage and fabulous playground make our Brighton school a very special place for a child’s first school experience.

Tucked into the historic Henderson Carriage House Building at 2067 Mass Ave lies our Porter Square school.  Opened in 2009 our Porter Sq school is perfectly located for families living in Cambridge or Somerville and has convenient, safe parking for drop off and pick up in the rear of the building.  Our Porter Sq school has a wonderful large community room we use for large group activities such as Yoga class or special guest visitors.  Our community room is surrounded by our 5 bright and fun filled classrooms specially designed for each of our 4 age groups.

Pine Village at 633 Centre St Jamaica Plain is located the Baptist Church in the heart of the JP business district. This historic building was completely rebuilt in 2010 after a devastating fire destroyed its interior. The school space is warm, bright and inviting and will be home to 5 classrooms for children ages 15 months to 5 years. We will enjoy a wonderful playground on site as well as indoor community space for those rainy days. Both JP locations will collaborate often and enjoy a close relationship, as they are only 3 blocks from each other. We look forward to our Grand Opening in September 2012!

The Jamaica Plain school, located in St John’s Episcopal Church is a fabulous newly designed space built especially for Pine Village.  We are located in the grand neighborhood of Sumner Hill, set high up green grassy knoll amidst the historic and grand victorian homes of JP.  Our school boasts bright, sunny classrooms as well as a large parish hall perfect for indoor play and and our annual festivities.  We also have a brand new fenced in playground on site equipped with all the goodies preschoolers LOVE!

Our Kendall Sq. school is our showplace school.  Designed especially for our location in Kendall Sq with 2 full exterior walls of 15 foot windows, our facility is bright open, airy and spacious.  We have designed this location with 4 age groups in mind and special activities for each.  We have both individual classrooms, quiet spaces as well as shared space for each age group to enjoy for gross motor activities, music and movement classes.  Parents have the opportunity to observe their children though the windows that connect each room to our community space.  We are located a short walk from the Kendall Sq T, 2 blocks from a fabulous playground and with on site access to weekly outdoor concerts and an ice skating rink in the winter!

Our brand new school in Needham, which opened in September of 2010, is a fabulous facility with 2 large, light filled preschool rooms for our 3 to 5year olds, and an open and airy toddler space for 18 busy two year olds.  Our school in Needham is conveniently located on the Newton/Needham boarder, just off Highland Ave and Rt 95.  We are a short walk from the beautiful Charles River Walk and have our own on site playground right out the front door.  We are located around the corner from ISIS Maternity and next door to Kids Street (formally Kids U) in an up and coming family destination area for active parents and kids.

Our West Newton location is centered in the heart of the village of West Newton in the First Unitarian Society building on the corner of Washington St and Highland Ave.  The Unitarian Society offers us a beautiful historic building with a huge fenced and well equipped playground.  We also have the unique advantage of the use of a huge parish hall for our indoor gross motor room, as well as a fabulous cook’s kitchen that is used weekly to offer the children an exciting extended curriculum.

Our South End school is a very special place, and holds the truly unique of title of our first fully designed and “built by PVP” location.  We are located at 700 Harrison Ave, approximately 4 blocks down from BMC, in the heart of the cultured and diverse South End neighborhood of Boston.  Our South End school is flooded with natural light from front to rear and has an open airy feel.  Our bright and sunny classrooms surround our community room where parents can gather together in the morning for a chat or transition their children into the day gently with a book or a puzzle.
