This location is centered in the heart of the village of West Newton in the First Unitarian Society building.
Located on the corner of Washington St. and Highland Ave., the Unitarian Society offers us a beautiful historic building with a huge fenced and well-equipped playground. We also have the unique advantage of the use of the parish hall for our indoor gross motor room, as well as a fabulous cook’s kitchen that is used weekly to offer the children an exciting extended curriculum.
My name is Britni Raymond and I have been a part of the Pine Village family for five and a half years. During the years working in Pine Village I have been a toddler teacher for 1 year and a Prek teacher for 4.5 years in the Newton PVP. During this time, I was able to make wonderful connections with parents, teachers and children and that was the best part of my job. I was also able to obtain my director certification and train with Kelly. I took on the role of the "to go" person when Kelly was out . This opportunity allowed me to grow and learn so much about all the different hats a director wears,
A little a bit about myself..
My family originates from Guatemala. I was born and raised in Boston, Ma. After graduating High school I attended and graduated from Mount Ida College with a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. My husband and I reside in Waltham, Ma. We are proud parents of a two year old boy and a 7 month old baby girl. We love to travel, and spend time with friends and family. Our family values are instilled in our faith, love, respect and honesty.
Overall, I am so thrilled to be a part of the Pine Village Family and I'm so excited to start this new chapter in my life as a director!
